Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Clacton-on-Sea
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Monday to Thursday - 07:00am to 16:30pm x Friday 07:00am to 11:00am!
Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.
About the Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our clients manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for ensuring machinery and equipment run efficiently, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
*Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
*Support process improvements and efficiency projects.
*Work collaboratively with production teams to minimize disruption.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
*Strong electrical skills with relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
*Knowledge of mechanical systems and multi-skilled maintenance.
*Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Desirable:
*Experience with PLCs and automated systems.
*Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
