A small dynamic charity in central London is seeking an interim Part time Finance Manager/Bookkeeper to join their team for 21-28 hours a week for a 33–4-monthperiod.
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
*Maintaining accounting ledgers
*Charity accounting & SORP principles
*Using Microsoft packages with excellent IT skills
*Of working in a small team
*Preparing monthly / quarterly management accounts
*Preparing annual statutory accounts and being involved with audit processes
*Managing financial operations, planning, reconciliation, reporting and analysis with experience of working with Xero
*Working with and co-ordinating income and expenditure across multi-project budgets and working with a Fundraising CRM (desirable)
*Running small monthly payroll
Person Specification
*Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in building relationships with various stakeholders at a senior level with good verbal and written communication skills – ability to work with and support non-financial officers and managers
*Proactive and can use initiative and find solutions to problems
*Positive, energising, and adopts a "can do" mentality.
*Well organised, efficient and accurate
*Able to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive information
*Happy to work on a hybrid basis (1 day per week in the office).
