Purchase Ledger Team Leader
Salary up to £33,000
Permanent, Full-Time, Mon – Fri (9am – 5pm)
Poole
Hybrid working available (after initial training period, office based one day a week)
Position
Our client is looking for a motivated, detail-focused individual to support the Finance team in delivering timely and accurate financial processing. You will help ensure transactions are completed efficiently, maintain financial procedures, and work confidently with computerised accounting and housing systems.


This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Line manage Finance Assistants (accounts receivable and payable)
*Process rents, service charges, and bank transactions (Rubixx and Iplicit)
*Process purchase invoices and reconcile supplier statements
*Maintain sales and purchase ledgers, including credit control
*Resolve customer and supplier queries professionally
*Process weekly BACS payments
*Support month-end activities
*Drive continuous improvements in transactional finance
*Contribute to finance-related projects
*Uphold organisational values and act as a positive role model
Requirements
*Experience of working within a Finance department
*Experience of line management
*Accurate and efficient data input skills/experience
*Experience of ledgers and reconciliations
*Experience of using a finance system
*Intermediate IT skills in Microsoft suite of software
