Job Description:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading international law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Early Careers Development Manager.
The role will work as part of their highly collaborative team in London, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for managing Early Careers development and ensuring development strategy is continuously improved.
Responsibilities will include:
*Driving trainee learning and development through programmes, training, and resources.
*Collaborating with colleagues to create training programmes, identify learning styles, and curate tailored resources and guidance.
*Using feedback from trainees to enhance future programmes.
*Managing all Early Career matters, ensuring trainees feel motivated and supported.
*Overseeing seat rotation, qualification processes, achievements, and SQE pass rates, analysing performance trends and adjusting policies and reporting, as necessary.
*Maintaining strong relationships with the wider Early Careers team, providing regular updates, and attending trainee partner meetings.
*Working with cross-functional teams and overseas HR Managers to promote inclusivity and ensure projects are implemented effectively.
*Overseeing the SQE preparation course, trainee events, onboarding processes, programme design, and administration processes.
*Regularly reviewing feedback and identifying insights to strategy and policy improvements.
*Leading the evaluation and optimisation of team operating models to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
*Managing the Early Careers team.
*Monitoring legal training and industry trends to ensure the firm’s programme remains competitive.
*Ensuring the firm adheres to regulations and best practice.
The firm are offering a highly competitive salary & benefits package, and 3:2 hybrid working arrangements are in place.
Suitable candidates will have solid prior experience within graduate recruitment and development, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking applicants with CIPD qualification, proficiency in the development of training programmes, understanding of SRA regulations, and excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
