Fabulous opportunity working for our wonderful client.
This is a 3-6 month fixed term contract. This could be made permanent for the right person.

Purpose of the Role
To provide professional HR advice, guidance, and support to managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. This role combines hands-on HR administration with advisory responsibilities, ensuring compliance, supporting talent acquisition, performance management, engagement initiatives, and delivering a high-quality HR service. Working closely with People Business Partners (HRBPs) and the People Operations, the People Advisor acts as both a trusted point of contact and an operational backbone for the People function.

Key Accountabilities
HR Advisory & Employee Relations
*Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment law.
*Support employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
*Coach managers on best practice in people management, escalating complex issues to BPs/VP
*Act as a trusted HR contact, ensuring queries are handled promptly and professionally.
Employee Lifecycle Administration
*Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, right-to-work checks, induction, and exit interviews.
*Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR and employment legislation.
*Oversee absence, holiday, and sickness tracking; produce reports and insights for leadership.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
*Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely updates.
*Support pre-employment checks and manage onboarding documentation.
*Support talent acquisition initiatives, working with BPs to align recruitment with workforce planning.
Performance & Engagement
*Support the performance management cycle, ensuring objectives and development plans are in place.
*Collate and analyse performance data for reporting to HR leadership.
*Assist with employee engagement activities including surveys, communications, and learning opportunities.
*Maintain trackers and KPIs to monitor HR effectiveness.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
*Collate monthly payroll changes and liaise with payroll providers for accurate processing.
*Manage relationships with external benefits providers, ensuring data accuracy and supporting renewals.
*Coordinate employee briefings on benefits and support enrolment processes.
HR Projects & General Support
*Contribute to HR projects, policy updates, and initiatives.
*Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) activities.
*Provide general administration support.
*Assist with HRIS management, ensuring data integrity and producing reports.

Experience & Qualifications
*Previous experience in HR administration and advisory roles (typically 2-4 years).
*Strong HR generalist background with exposure to recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
*CIPD Level 3 or 5 (advantageous but not essential).
*Skilled in drafting HR documentation with attention to legal compliance and risk mitigation.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
*Excellent communication skills, able to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships.
*Strong organisational skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
*Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, with some exposure to a global operation
*Self-directed, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
