On an exclusive basis, greenwellgleeson are working with an exciting, high growth business looking for an exceptional Head of Finance.
This person will be a pivotal part of the next phase of the growth of the business.
This role is remote, with travel to London once a fortnight, you must be based near to Birmingham as they are increasing their Midlands presence.
Key Responsibilities Profitability:
* supporting the company as they move towards profitability

* helping drive improved financial performance and efficiencies across the business

* Cashflow Management: leading on cashflow forecasting, to ensure an accurate live read on cashflow and that optimised systems are in place to manage cash efficiently (eg reducing stock-on-hand / debtor days)

* Budget and Forecasting: lead on setting the budget with MD’s and on managing live forecast

* Management Accounts. Work with external accountants to ensure timely sharing of management accounts and month end close Board Packs.

* Lead on financial information for Board Packs.

* Debtor reporting: lead on debtor reporting and supporting ops team on ensuring all debts are paid on time

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications
* Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA

* FMCG experience is big plus

* Exceptional communication skills, able to make all stakeholders understand the numbers simply

* Passionate about building businesses and social impact.
