Job Description:
FTC Management Accountant Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Location: Grangemouth, Scotland
Qualification: QBE, part-qualified, or ACCA/ACCA finalist considered
Contract Length: 4-6 Months FTC
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team near Falkirk, Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in management accounting to contribute to a well-established business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts and associated reporting
* Post journals, including accruals and prepayments
* Liaise with department heads to support forecasts, budgets, and five-year plans
* General accounting and completion of various tax returns
* Support departmental cost control and financial planning
* Assist with coding invoices and port-related tenant recharges/recoverable works
The Ideal Candidate:
* QBE, part-qualified, or ACCA finalist
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Able to work effectively to deadlines and manage competing priorities
* Good business acumen and organisational skills
* Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Additional Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (for occasional travel)
