Head of Lettings - Gerrards Cross Location: Gerrards Cross
Position: Permanent, Full-Time
Package: Exceptional basic salary + car allowance/car + £75,000+ OTE Year 1
Overview My client is seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Head of Lettings to lead their established residential lettings operation in Gerrards Cross. This is a senior strategic position working closely with the National Head of Lettings and wider leadership team to shape the direction of the business, drive profitability, and deliver an exceptional client experience.
This role is ideal for a proven lettings leader with a strong market profile, exceptional commercial performance, and the ability to motivate, develop and drive a high-performing team.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Performance Management *Motivate and lead the lettings team, launching new initiatives to maximise performance.
*Monitor key KPIs including viewings, deals, pipeline status and lettings targets.
*Conduct annual performance reviews alongside senior leadership.
*Assess training, development and performance management needs where required.
*Maintain high levels of team engagement, collaboration and overall performance.
Operational & Strategic Management *Work closely with senior leadership to drive strategy, profitability, and business direction.
*Ensure lettings performance consistently aligns with client expectations.
*Act as the visible and accountable Head of Lettings for clients and partners.
*Oversee deal progression including KYC status (in partnership with local COT).
*Set clear goals and expectations for the team in line with business priorities.
*Determine resource allocation, planning requirements and operational priorities.
Business Development & Networking *Act as a strong fee earner and generator of new business opportunities.
*Expand the lettings portfolio through proactive networking and client engagement.
*Maximise cross-selling and referral opportunities across residential and commercial divisions.
*Attend relevant networking events to strengthen market presence and brand profile.
*Work collaboratively with Directors across the wider residential business.
Team Development & Culture *Mentor, coach and guide team members to elevate performance and capability.
*Build a culture of trust, accountability and high-quality service delivery.
*Encourage innovation, continuous improvement and professional development.
Person SpecificationQualifications *Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
*Full, valid UK driving licence.
Experience & Skills *Significant experience leading a successful lettings team.
*Proven track record as a strong fee earner and new business generator.
*Confident working at a strategic level with senior decision-makers.
*Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
*Demonstrable knowledge of the full lettings cycle from valuation to compliance.
*Strong coaching/mentoring background.
*Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Experience managing deadlines and overseeing multiple operational priorities.
