Management Accountant

*Salary: £20 - £21 an hour
*Qualifications - Part-Qualified Accountant is required
We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of our client. This role involves completing the monthly accounts process, producing management accounts reports, and leading the implementation of new accounting software. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in both management and financial accounting, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Complete the monthly accounts process, including salary cost allocation, accruals and prepayments, depreciation, control account reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliation.
*Produce and distribute monthly management accounts reports and analyses.
*Prepare monthly hospice partner reports and liaise with partners to ensure all invoicing is up to date.
*Produce bespoke and routine reports in Excel.
*Understand the processes in purchase ledger and banking to cover for staff absence or holidays.
*Prepare the monthly cost per member report analysed by employed fundraisers and fundraising contractors and agency fundraisers.
*Lead on the implementation of the new Iplicit accounts package and parallel run with Sage accounting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in management accounting and financial accounting.
*Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
*Experience with financial software implementations, preferably with Iplicit and Sage.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (Part Qualified)
