Our client is an established and successful manufacturing company based in Washington. They are currently looking for a HR Officer to join their team. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below. You will be working between sites in Washington and Sunderland.
The Job You’ll be Doing;
*Support the Senior HR team with the provision of general HR advice to managers and employees on routine HR issues, HR policies and procedures and terms and conditions of service
*You will be required to take an active role in supporting casework across the company, e.g. investigations, grievance, and capability, ensuring accurate records are maintained
*Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
*Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
*Assisting with payroll preparation and absence tracking
*Coordinating training and development activities
*Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies
*Supporting employee engagement and internal communications
About You;
*You must be available to start work asap
*Previous experience at HR Officer level, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
*Confident communicator with a proactive approach
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
*CIPD qualification (or working towards) is a plus
