Spanish MFL Teacher

Reed Education is seeking a dynamic Spanish MFL Teacher to join a secondary school in the Wyre and Fylde area. This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available and looking to impact students’ lives positively through exceptional language teaching. The position starts in January and offers the opportunity to work across several schools, providing a varied and enriching environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
*Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum guidelines.
*Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to improve their language skills.
*Maintain classroom discipline and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and learning experiences.
*Participate in school meetings and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Recent relevant experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial.
*Excellent classroom management skills and subject knowledge.
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
*Reliable, committed, and capable of being a good role model for students.
*Must be punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
