Finance Analyst
Up to £40,000
Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Worksop area as they look to recruit a Finance Analyst into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
*Ensure all accounting allocations are accurate and fully documented, with a focus on gross profit reporting
*Support timely and precise reporting on sales performance and stock levels
*Uphold internal financial controls, ensuring robust checks and balances are in place
*Prepare a variety of reports, including weekly KPI updates for stock management, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and gross margin analysis for actuals, budgets, and forecasts
*Maintain and improve financial systems while ensuring master data remains accurate
*Provide coverage for the Financial Controller when required
Qualifications and Skills Required:
*Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
*Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, offering innovative solutions to challenges
*Advanced Excel expertise, including proficiency in functions like VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and macros, along with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets
*Solid analytical and reporting skills with relevant experience
