Job Description:
Location: Strood (onsite & filed based)
Salary: Up to £29,253
Contract: Full time, permanent, term time only
Seeking a passionate and dedicated individual with experience supporting 16-25 years olds with Special Educational Needs within the workplace.
Overview:
Working for a leading education provider, you will provide work related support to individuals completing a term long Supported Internship Programme (1 day classroom, 4 days in the workplace).
A typical week:
*Visit students in the workplace
*Provide in classroom support
*Work closely with employers to ensure success
*Provide on the job training in work settings
You’ll need the following:
*Experience working with SEN learners
*Experience of mentoring & coaching in the workplace
*Ability to inspire & motivate learners/employers
*Car driver, flexible with local travel
