Production Planner
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner with a strong background in the food manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to ensure optimal efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
*Monitor and adjust plans based on changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or production constraints.
*Collaborate with procurement, operations, and quality teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging.
*Utilize ERP/MRP or SAP systems to manage production planning and inventory control.
*Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
*Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the planning process.
*Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and capacity utilization.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in production planning within the food industry (minimum 3 years preferred).
*Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP or SAP systems for planning and scheduling.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
*Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Desirable:
*Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
*Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
*Supply chain qualifications advantageous
