The RoleOur client is seeking a motivated and resilient Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their Warrington-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with businesses that have potential R&D tax exposure, qualifying opportunities, and booking high-quality meetings for the Business Development Managers.
This position is ideal for a confident communicator with proven sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities*Make outbound calls to businesses across the UK to identify R&D Tax Relief opportunities.
*Qualify leads and secure appointments for the Business Development Managers.
*Conduct thorough research to understand prospects’ industries, pain points, and potential R&D eligibility.
*Manage and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
*Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for calls, conversations, and booked meetings.
*Work closely with the BDM team to ensure smooth handover and strong conversion rates.
About YouExperience:
*Minimum 2 years of sales experience, ideally in a B2B environment.
*Proven track record of success in cold calling and lead generation.
Skills & Attributes:
*Confident, articulate communicator with an engaging phone manner.
*Highly self-motivated with a tenacious attitude and a competitive edge.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Comfortable working to targets and KPIs in a structured sales environment.
*Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
