Description
*Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with company standards.
*Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the finance department.
*Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
*Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
*Maintain and improve internal controls and reporting procedures.
*Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.
*Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as required by management.
Profile
A successful Reporting Accountant should have:
*A strong background in accounting and finance within the energy and natural resources sector.
*Experience with CAPEX
*Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
*Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
*Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
*SAP Exposure
