Role Purpose:
My client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team, focusing exclusively on new business development within the Facilities Management sector. You will play a key role in driving growth by generating leads, building strong client relationships, and executing the sales strategy to enhance brand presence. This is a field-based role (80% in the field, 20% in-office) for a proactive, results-driven individual.
Benefits:
*Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

*First Year OTE: £60,000

Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Build and manage your own client pipeline through cold outreach, prospecting, and networking.
*Qualify and follow up on leads, engaging decision-makers via calls, LinkedIn, emails, and in-person meetings.
*Negotiate contract rates and prepare quotations to maximise profitability.
*Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
*Collaborate with marketing to implement effective strategies and enhance brand presence.
*Lead client meetings, present proposals, and complete tender documentation.
*Consistently exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and activity metrics.
Specification:
*Background in Facilities, Maintenance, or Construction desirable.
*Proven experience in business development and building your own sales pipeline.
*Strong rapport-building skills, both over the phone and face-to-face.
*Results-driven, commercially minded, and highly organised.
*Full UK driving licence (site visits required).
*Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
*Self-motivated, ambitious, and a great team player.
