Job title: Property Account Handler
Salary: Up to £45,000
Location: Greater Manchester - Hybrid
PURPOSE-OF-ROLE
Lawes is currently recruiting for an experienced Real Estate Account Handler to join a dynamic and growing team servicing large commercial clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Manage and retain a portfolio of existing commercial clients
*Support new-business opportunities in collaboration with executives
*Ensure compliance with FCA regulations in all broking activities
*Provide technical insurance advice across all Property and Real Estate business
*Assist with the placement of premiums up to £800K
DAY-TO-DAY
*Handle renewals, mid-term-adjustments and new quotes
*Prepare and present market submissions
*Maintain accurate client records and documentation
*Build strong client relationships through professional service delivery
*Monitor market trends and competitor activity
*Support the team in achieving KPIs and service-level standards
EXPERIENCE
*Proven experience as a Real Estate or Commercial Account Handler within the insurance industry
*Strong knowledge of relevant commercial insurance products
*Experience working in a broker environment
SKILLS
*Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
*Sound knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements
*Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
*Proficient in relevant insurance software and Microsoft Office suite
