Job Description:
The Supply Register is working in partnership with The Prospere Trust to recruit a committed and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged pupil with an at Prospect House in Blackley.
This role is available for a January start and will run for the remainder of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
The Role * Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs, in accordance with their EHCP
* Support both their academic progress and social–emotional development
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to deliver personalised strategies
* Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
About You * Proven experience supporting SEN pupils 1:1 within a primary school setting
* Strong understanding of SEN approaches, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or emotional/behavioural challenges
* Calm, patient and adaptable, with strong communication skills
* Able to build effective relationships with pupils, staff and parents
* A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
