Job Title: Town Planner (RTPI Chartered)
Location: Blackfriars & Sidcup (Hybrid Working Available)

Are you an RTPI Chartered Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? I’m working with a well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy seeking to strengthen its planning team across its Blackfriars and Sidcup offices. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional who wants to be part of a collaborative, respected, and forward-thinking environment.
The Role You will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning advice and support across a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential, commercial, regeneration, and mixed-use developments. Working alongside a highly experienced team, you’ll help guide clients through the planning process from initial strategy to submission and appeal work where required.
Key Responsibilities * Prepare, manage, and submit planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents
* Undertake policy reviews, site appraisals, and feasibility assessments
* Provide strategic planning advice to clients and stakeholders
* Liaise with local authorities, design teams, and external consultants
* Support senior colleagues on major schemes while leading your own smaller to medium-sized projects
* Contribute to the continued growth and development of the planning team
About You * RTPI Chartered (or equivalent level of professional experience)
* Strong understanding of UK planning policy and development processes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident managing client relationships and delivering work to high professional standards
* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
* Desire to progress your career within a dynamic, supportive consultancy setting
