New Senior Associate Role – Commercial Property (Agricultural Team)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a leading South West law firm in its specialist Agricultural & Rural Land team based in Exeter.
This role is ideal for a lawyer with a strong commercial property background who wants to expand their expertise into agricultural transactions, rural estates and high-value land matters. You’ll work closely with a highly respected Partner, giving you exposure to complex transactions and a clear path for professional growth.
The Work – What You’ll Do
You’ll advise a wide range of clients including private individuals, family estates, corporate landowners and institutional lenders on commercial property and agricultural matters, such as:
*Sales and purchases of farms, estates and rural land holdings (including multi-lot and high-value deals)
*First registrations, title reconstructions and complex title issues
*Overage agreements, easements, rights of way and access rights
*Agricultural tenancies and Farm Business Tenancy agreements
*Sporting rights and specialist rural leases
*Agricultural Holdings Act and 1954 Act tenancy advice
*Secured lending transactions involving rural and mixed-use property assets
About You:
*Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in commercial property
*Genuine interest in agricultural and rural property law
*Able to handle complex title matters and high-value transactions
*Commercially minded, confident communicator and client-focused
