Finance Analyst - Reading (Hybrid)
£28,000-£32,000 + Bonus | Full-time | 1 Day WFH | Free Parking | Study Support
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join a friendly, sociable, and vibrant team within a fast-growing tech company providing IT Support, Telecoms, and Cloud solutions to SMEs across the Thames Valley. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day financial tasks and provide insights and analysis to support decision-making, while our external accountant manages Tax, VAT, and PAYE.
Key Responsibilities * Manage daily financial tasks: invoicing, expenses, reconciliations
* Prepare internal reports, dashboards, and financial analysis
* Maintain accurate financial records & support month-end processes
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow analysis
* Review data from external accountants and flag discrepancies
* Support improvements to financial processes (Xero experience ideal)
Skills & Experience * Around 2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or analysis
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Solid understanding of accounting principles
* Confident with Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
* Experience with Xero preferred
* Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
