*Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise excess.
*Utilise ERP/MRP systems, such as Oracle, for material planning and scheduling.
*Generate and analyse data reports using advanced Excel functions.
*Coordinate with stakeholders to align material requirements with production schedules.
*Identify and resolve supply chain challenges efficiently.
*Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process.
*Maintain accurate records of inventory and material planning activities.
Profile
A successful Interim Material Planner should have:
*Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle) for effective material planning
*Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
*Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain planning principles
*Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
*Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
*Strong time management and organisational abilities to meet deadlines
*Significant relevant experience in materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control (3-5 years preferred)
