We are seeking an experienced Office Manager with a strong background in financial services, to play a central role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of office and operational functions. In this position, you will act as a key escalation point for both staff and client issues, manage support staff, oversee workloads and task allocation, ensure that back-office systems and procedures are consistently followed, and deliver training. You will also be responsible for fostering a high-performance culture by working closely with HR to support objective-setting, feedback, and development conversations. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate logistics, and support operational planning. You will also monitor operational, regulatory, and conduct risks, escalating issues appropriately, and ensure the office environment and facilities are well managed to support the teams’ ongoing success.
What’s needed?
*At least 2 years’ experience as an Office Manager within an IFA or financial services environment.
*Proven experience managing staff and supporting team development.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a changing environment.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
*High levels of confidentiality, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
*Experience working with third-party providers.
*Understanding of FCA requirements and compliance principles.
*Confidence in preparing and presenting management information and key data.
