Job Title: Assembly Operative
Contract Type: Temporary and Permanent
Location: Whitstable
Pay Rate: £12.21 – £12.80 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, day time hours
We are seeking reliable and experienced Assembly Operatives to join our team in Whitstable.
Key Responsibilities
*Assembling components or parts to create finished products, following technical drawings or instructions.
*Operating machinery or hand tools safely and efficiently.
*Inspecting parts and finished products for quality and accuracy.
*Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
*Reporting defects or issues to supervisors promptly.
*Packing and labelling completed products for dispatch.
*Following health and safety guidelines at all times.
*Recording production data and completing relevant paperwork.
*Collaborating with team members to meet production targets.
Essential Requirements
*Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a assembly environment.
Desirable
*Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
*Forklift licence.
