Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Secondary)
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Contract Type: Full-time (Term Time Only)
Salary:£19k–£25k per year

We’re looking for a proactive and caring Teaching Assistant to support students across a range of subjects in a mainstream secondary setting. You’ll work closely with teachers to help students engage, learn, and thrive in a positive, well-behaved environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support students in class and small groups to access learning.
*Assist with adapting resources and activities to meet individual needs.
*Encourage confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
*Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For
*Experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable).
*Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
*Ability to build positive relationships and motivate students.
*Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 TA or similar) are an advantage but not essential.
