Assistant Accountant - Pangbourne (Hybrid) £28,000-£32,000 + Bonus | Full-time | 1 Day WFH | Free Parking | Study Support
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join a friendly, sociable, and vibrant team within a fast-growing tech company providing IT Support, Telecoms, and Cloud solutions to SMEs across the Thames Valley. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day financial tasks while our external accountant manages Tax, VAT, and PAYE.
Key Responsibilities * Daily accounting tasks: invoicing, expenses, reconciliations
* Maintain financial records & support month-end
* Prepare internal reports and financial analysis
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow
* Support improvements to financial processes (Xero experience ideal)
Skills & Experience * Around 2 years’ accounting/finance experience
* Solid understanding of accounting principles
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience with Xero preferred
* Analytical, organised, and proactive
Benefits * Highly competitive salary: £28,000-£32,000 (DOE)
