EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant
?? Location: Kilburn Park
?? Start Date: January 2026
?? Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team at a vibrant and supportive primary school in Kilburn Park. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs to thrive in their early years.
About the Role: * Provide 1:1 and small group support for children in EYFS with additional needs.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning activities.
* Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, encouraging independence and confidence.
* Assist with implementing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and targeted interventions.
* Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
About You: * Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in EYFS, is highly desirable.
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with young children.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) are an advantage but not essential for the right candidate.
