This is an opportunity to join a well-established, independent wealth management firm with a reputation for high standards, client-first service, and collaborative working. The business supports long-term financial wellbeing through tailored advice and planning, with paraplanners playing an integral role in the delivery of that service.
Role Overview
The firm is looking for a qualified paraplanner who enjoys working closely with advisers to develop detailed financial strategies. This role is suited to someone who is comfortable engaging with clients when required, confident in handling a range of financial planning areas, and keen to be part of a quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
*Conducting technical product and provider research
*Supporting advisers with meeting preparation and follow-up
*Analysing clients’ current financial situations and recommending appropriate planning strategies
*Ensuring all reports and plans are compliant with FCA regulations
*Liaising with product providers and internal teams to support the advice process
Requirements
*Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
*Experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA or wealth management firm
*Knowledge of pensions, investments, and broader financial planning principles
*Excellent written communication and analytical skills
*Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
*Experience using financial planning tools and CRM systems (e.g. Voyant, Intelligent Office, FE Analytics) is an advantage
*Chartered status (or working towards it) would be a plus but is not essential

*Salary of £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience
