People (HR) Advisor- 35 Hours- Permanent
Location: Beautiful Country Centre in Chichester (with free parking, on-site café, and nursery facilities)
Travel: Projects across Bognor Regis and Fratton
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
In partnership with our dedicated client, we are seeking an experienced People (HR) Advisor to join their team and partner with managers and employees across the organisation.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll travel to different projects, working closely with managers to identify People concerns early and deliver effective, practical solutions.

What You’ll Do
*Be a trusted partner: Build strong, collaborative relationships with managers and teams across the Trust, coaching leaders to spot challenges early and craft smart, effective solutions.
*Drive impact: Take the lead on key People projects alongside the Head of People and Development, shaping initiatives that make a real difference.
*Turn data into insight: Harness People analytics to uncover trends, guide decisions, and influence strategy.
*Champion our culture: Live and breathe the ’Aldingbourne Way,’ ensuring every People process reflects our values and unique spirit.
*Boost wellbeing: Support initiatives that keep our teams thriving—think peer support groups, wellbeing check-ins, and more.
*Deliver expert advice: Provide proactive, professional HR guidance, managing ER casework with confidence (absence, performance, capability, conflict resolution, disciplinary, grievance).
*Lead recruitment excellence: Own the process from drafting standout documentation to shortlisting and interview support.
*Empower learning: Assist with engaging People training sessions and back up the People Administrator on contracts, payroll, and database updates.
*Stay compliant: Keep us aligned with UK employment law, CQC, GDPR, and Health & Safety standards.
*Handle with care: Maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive situations with tact, integrity, and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*CIPD Level 5 or above
*Previous People/HR advisory experience
*Proven track record in delivering effective HR interventions
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
*Access to car; driver
Desirable:
*Experience in the not-for-profit sector or a people-centred organisation
