Job Description:
Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Bradford who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time, office-based role where you will work closely with Finance Manager. This is an exciting time to join the business offering progression opportunities.
Duties:
*Cash book – record receipts and payments
*Petty cash management
*Credit card processing
*Accounts reconciliation
*Support with nominal work
*Purchase ledger
*Track outstanding balances
*Input payroll data and timesheets
*Organise BACS payments
*Produce reports
*Respond to customer queries
*Update relevant pensions
*Adhoc duties
You will need to demonstrate:
*Experience within a similar finance role
*Sage experience (desirable)
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Excel experience (VLOOKUP’s)
*Keen to pick up further duties with a ’hands-on’ approach
