An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Audit & Accounts Manager to lead and manage audit and accounting engagements within a professional services environment. Based in Eastbourne, this role requires expertise in accounting and finance to deliver high-quality services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Description
*Lead and manage audit and accounts assignments from planning to completion.
*Review and prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations.
*Provide expert advice to clients on accounting and tax matters.
*Ensure the accurate and timely submission of financial reports.
*Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring professional development.
*Maintain strong client relationships and address client queries effectively.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.
*Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and industry regulations.
*Initially the role will be circa 25% audit and 75% accounts/tax with a view to the audit portfolio growing over time.
Profile
A successful Audit & Accounts Manager should have:
*A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA).
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
*Experience managing client portfolios within a professional services setting.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
