Furniture Sales Designer
*Location: Leicestershire
*Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
*Salary: £28,000 - OTE £45,000 per year
Join our team as a Furniture Sales Designer and bring creativity and precision to bespoke furniture design. We are seeking an experienced, creative, and detail-oriented individual with a strong design sensibility and excellent communication skills. This role involves close collaboration with clients to tailor unique furniture solutions for their spaces.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Customer Home Visits: Conduct in-person consultations to understand client needs, measure spaces, and use SketchUp to create functional and aesthetically pleasing design concepts.
*Showroom Engagement: Welcome customers at my client’s Leicestershire based showroom, provide expert guidance, schedule design appointments, and handle inquiries with professionalism.
*Collaboration with Production Teams: Participate in regular meetings to ensure design specifications are followed and projects stay on track.
*Post-Sale Oversight: Manage administrative tasks post-sale, including processing payments, updating project files, and preparing invoices to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project completion.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.
*Passionate about design with proficiency in SketchUp; knowledge of Enscape is a plus.
*Previous experience in a sales or design role.
*Must possess a UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for travel to customer homes and various locations.
