Description
*Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
*Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and in a timely manner.
*Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
*Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations.
*Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review.
*Monitor budgets and report on variances where necessary.
*Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
*Respond to financial queries and provide support during audits.
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
*A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
*Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Knowledge of VAT regulations and bookkeeping principles.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
*Previous experience in the leisure, travel & tourism industry is advantageous.
