SEN Teacher

Salary: £190 - £250 per day
About the role/school
We are recruiting a SEN Teacher to join a supportive and well-established specialist education setting in East London. This is a full-time opportunity working with pupils who require tailored learning approaches and consistent, nurturing support. The successful SEN Teacher will be joining a dedicated team with a strong emphasis on inclusion, structure, and positive outcomes for all learners.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEN Teacher who is confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs within a well-resourced environment.
Job Responsibilities
The SEN Teacher will be responsible for:
* Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual needs

* Managing classroom behaviour using positive behaviour strategies

* Working closely with support staff and external professionals

* Assessing progress and adapting teaching accordingly

* Creating a safe, engaging and structured learning environment

The SEN Teacher will play a key role in helping pupils develop both academically and socially.
Qualifications/Experience
We are looking for a committed SEN Teacher who can demonstrate:
* Experience working within SEND or specialist education settings

* Strong behaviour management and trauma-informed practice

* The ability to adapt learning to meet a variety of complex needs

* A patient, resilient, and positive approach to teaching

* Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

* Right to work in the UK
