Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a well-known, successful Injection Moulding business in Leicester as they seek an Injection Moulding Manager for their facility. The role will oversee a skilled workforce, operating in a well stocked facility that utilises various bits of kit and a wide range of materials. Daily duties:
*Oversight of 20 - 45 headcount depending on production demands, driving production standards
*Be responsible for the planning of production against customer needs
*Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
*Ensure safe working practices, whilst training and mentoring staff to be the best they can be
*Driving continuous improvement and Lean behaviours in the facility. Oversee and improve processes where possible
*Be hands on with the machinery and products when necessary to ensure quality and conformance is at it’s maximum
Experience needed for the role:


*Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding operations, materials handling, and production processes.
*Recent leadership or management experience in an injection moulding environment.
*Examples of process improvement identification and application
*Capabilities around production planning for Just in Time manufacturing against client requirements
*Experience with stock management a bonus
*Supporting qualifications around Lean, Six-Sigma, Health & Safety, Injection Moulding or Quality a bonus
