Contract: 3 Month Temp

What you’ll be doing
As a Payroll Advisor, you’ll be a vital part of a dedicated team, delivering timely, accurate payroll services and providing excellent support to employees across the organisation.
You will:
*Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and internal policies.
*Maintain accurate employee records, including new starters, leavers, promotions, and pay changes.
*Provide clear, empathetic responses to employee queries on payslips, tax codes, deductions, pensions, and benefits.
*Work closely with HR, Finance, and other teams to maintain seamless data flow and resolve discrepancies.
*Prepare payroll reports and provide insights on overtime, absences, and statutory payments.
*Support payroll account reconciliations and ensure robust audit trails.
*Assist with year-end duties such as P60s, P11Ds, and statutory returns.
*Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
*Take part in regular team meetings and training sessions.
*Handle confidential information with the highest level of professionalism.
What you’ll bring
You’ll succeed in this role if you are organised, detail-focused, and confident managing full payroll cycles. You’ll also bring:
*Proven experience delivering end-to-end payroll in a medium or large organisation.
*Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation including PAYE, NI, statutory payments, auto-enrolment, and GDPR.
*Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
*Strong communication skills with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly and professionally.
*Good proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
*A collaborative mindset, working well with HR, Finance, IT, and other teams.
*A commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
*Adaptability and a proactive approach to ongoing learning.
