Job Description:
Robert Half Finance & Accounting are supporting a business in South Bristol who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their close knit, friendly team. This is a varied, busy role with an opportunity of progression. This role will start initially on a temporary basis, with the view to becoming permanent.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months temp, to become permanent
Location:South Bristol
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Responsibilities:
*Bank & cash reconciliations
*Assisting with reporting
*Reviewing and assisting with management of ledgers - Sales & Purchase
*Assisting with purchase order processing, ensuring accurate documentation
*Liaising with internal stakeholders
*Managing the shared email inbox & resolving queries
*Managing expenses
*Assisting with month end - posting journals
Required experience/background:
*Completed/currently studying AAT - Desirable
*High level of accuracy
*Excellent communication
*Ability to work well in a team
*Ability to take prioritise and manage own workload
*Computer literate including Excel
*Previous experience of working in an SME environment - Desirable
