About the Role

We are working with a leading wealth management firm to recruit an ambitious and experienced Financial Planner to join their growing team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-calibre professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes and developing others within the business.
As a Pod Leader, you will not only provide comprehensive, goal-based financial planning to clients but also lead a small team of Financial Planners, offering guidance, support, and mentoring to help them achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver high-quality financial advice, including retirement, legacy planning, protection, and ongoing client service.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and professional connections.
*Develop and grow your own client bank through referrals and networking.
*Stay up to date with financial markets, products, and legislative changes.
*Act as a line manager for a small group of advisers, providing coaching and oversight.
*Contribute to business projects and initiatives where appropriate.
About You
*Currently working as a Financial Planner with at least 5 years’ experience.
*Ideally Chartered (or close to achieving this).
*Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, ISAs, bonds, and protection.
*Proven leadership experience within financial services.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Highly organised, commercially minded, and detail-oriented.
