Marketing Manager – B2B
Salary: £45,000 basic (negotiable, depending on experience)
Location: Runcorn – Hybrid working
About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead all marketing activity across the business, driving brand visibility, supporting sales opportunities, and enhancing customer engagement. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll manage everything from content creation and sales collateral to website development, PPC support, and CRM-driven marketing.
You’ll work closely with senior teams and business development to shape and deliver a marketing function that supports long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Enablement & Commercial Support
*Create case studies, brochures, pitch decks, and sector-specific collateral.
*Support business development with targeted content for outreach and proposals.
*Prepare marketing materials for tenders and large commercial opportunities.
*Maintain a library of completed projects, testimonials, and marketing assets.
*Collaborate with operational teams to gather updates and success stories.
Digital Marketing & Website Development
*Lead the redevelopment and ongoing improvement of the company website.
*Coordinate with external developers to modernise layout, structure, and content.
*Ensure strong SEO, clear user journeys, and effective lead conversion.
*Build and update landing pages, service pages, and imagery as required.
PPC, SEO & Analytics
*Liaise with external PPC agency to plan and manage paid campaigns.
*Monitor campaign performance and ensure activity supports commercial goals.
*Provide regular insights and reports to senior management and sales teams.
*Use analytics to improve content, website flow, and overall digital performance.
CRM & Automation
*Support development, structure, and reporting within the CRM.
*Build automated email nurture flows and follow-up processes.
*Ensure data is organised, segmented, and used effectively.
*Work with the sales team to improve pipeline visibility and lead management.
Branding & Creative
*Manage brand guidelines, templates, documents, and creative assets.
*Maintain consistent branded materials across online and offline channels.
*Produce graphics and visual content using Canva or similar tools.
*Oversee rollout of any brand updates across departments.
Social Media & Content Creation
*Manage social media channels and grow brand and service visibility.
*Create a structured content calendar with project updates, insights, and team stories.
*Produce high-quality copy and graphics for multiple platforms.
*Gather content from site visits, teams, and ongoing projects.
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience in a B2B Marketing Manager role.
*Preferably from sectors such as engineering, facilities, construction, or services.
*Confident across all marketing channels: brand marketing, email campaigns, digital platforms, and social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, blogs).
*Skilled in creating brochures, case studies, and marketing collateral for sales teams.
*Experience managing website development and coordinating with external developers.
*Comfortable working with PPC agencies and interpreting campaign results.
*Strong CRM knowledge and ability to build marketing processes around it.
*Excellent copywriting, organisation, and communication skills.
*Proactive, creative thinker with the ability to manage a varied workload.
