Hybrid, 2 days office based

Leading international company are recruiting a qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join the finance team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity reporting to the head of finance you will have key commercial responsibilities within the business including a strong focus on financial planning, reporting and stakeholder engagement. This role bridges traditional management accounting with strategic FP&A responsibilities - providing insight, challenge and support to help drive performance across the business.
This is exciting opportunity an immediate start (however they can accommodate a two-month notice period) role. The interview process is a two-stage process, initially a Teams meeting followed by a face-to-face interview in the office.
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager:
Management Accounting & Reporting
*Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations and journals are completed on time.
*Support month end and quarter end close processes, including accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.
*Maintain and develop financial models to support forecasting and scenario analysis.
*Monitor key KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
Commercial Finance / FP&A
*Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes in collaboration with operations directors.
*Partner with commercial and operational teams to evaluate business cases, pricing models and investment opportunities.
*Analyse margins, cost drivers and revenue streams to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
*Provide decision support for strategic initiatives, including new product launches, cost optimisation and capital expenditure.
*Present clear, data driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
Process Improvement & Systems
*Drive process automation and improve efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
*Assist with continuous improvement of management reporting frameworks and dashboards.
Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
*3–5+ years’ experience in management accounting or FP&A, in a commercial and multi entity environment.
*Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel, Power BI or similar).
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Proactive, detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
*Please note - proven experience with NetSuite is essential to the role. Oracle EPM, Concur and Coupa would be advantageous.
