Schools in Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone and Chingford consistently require skilled SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication difficulties and learning delays. As a flexible SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be stepping into a range of classrooms, ensuring pupils receive consistent, caring support even when regular staff are absent.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Role Details * Daily Rate: £82.14-£100

* Contract: Daily supply / flexible working

* Location: Waltham Forest primary schools

* Schedule: Choose the days you want to work

What You’ll Do as an SEN Teaching Assistant * Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support across multiple schools

* Help pupils with communication, emotional regulation and behaviour

* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and adapted learning tasks

* Quickly settle into new environments and build rapport with pupils

* Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs

What We’re Looking For * Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a school setting

* Confidence supporting a range of SEN across different age groups

* Flexibility, reliability and calm behaviour management

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Ability to travel to schools across Waltham Forest at short notice
