Learning Support Assistant

*Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time
*Salary: £21,359 per annum (£26,281 FTE)
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND department.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities.

The position offers a great opportunity for those interested in progressing to teacher training.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Work closely with groups and individual pupils to provide tailored support and facilitate learning.
*Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
*Monitor and support the progress of pupils both academically and socially.
*Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to enhance the learning experience of students.
*Participate in training and development sessions to improve professional skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Must have GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths at grade C or above.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*A genuine interest in working within education and supporting the development of young people.
*Interest in progressing to teacher training is welcomed.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
