Credit Controller
*Annual Salary: From £27,000 - £30,000

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to join our clients finance team. This role is crucial for managing and maintaining customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments, and minimizing financial risk. The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
*Accurately post and allocate payments to customer accounts and perform necessary reconciliations.
*Handle credit account applications and conduct credit checks.
*Regularly monitor and adjust customer credit limits to comply with internal policies.
*Proactively contact customers to collect overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondence.
*Keep customer records up-to-date and resolve any arising queries promptly.
*Support adherence to credit policies within the sales team.
*Undertake additional tasks as required to support the finance team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*At least one year of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong numerical abilities.
*Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
*Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
