Finance Manager - Construction
(CIMA/ACCA)
Sheffield
A great opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join a growing Building Solutions business and lead financial performance across the North of England within construction projects. Supporting a portfolio of long-term contracts, you’ll partner closely with operational and commercial teams to drive accuracy, challenge performance, and shape financial strategy. This is a high-visibility role with real influence and strong progression potential. What you’ll do
*Own financial reporting and analysis across 20+ regional contracts
*Lead budgets, forecasts, monthly accounts and performance reviews
*Challenge and support operational teams on contract performance
*Manage cashflow, WIP and key balance sheet reconciliations
*Support scenario modelling, risk/opportunity analysis and strategic planning
*Build strong stakeholder relationships and deputise for the Finance Business Partner
What you’ll bring
*CIMA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years PQE
*Experience in long-term contract accounting (construction preferred)
*Strong analytical skills and a partnering mindset
*Ability to travel to regional offices and operational sites across the UK
*Industry experience (construction / facilities management)
