SEN Teacher - Full-Time, Permanent - Manchester
Location: Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £130-£190 per day DOE
Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Contract: Permanent - Direct School Contract
Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a warm, well-resourced, and supportive Primary SEND school in Manchester. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an SEN Teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with a range of complex needs within a nurturing specialist setting. The successful SEN Teacher will teach pupils across the primary age range, and the ability to work confidently across all primary key stages is highly desirable.
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching that supports pupils with complex needs, communication difficulties, sensory needs, and SEMH challenges. The school is looking for an SEN Teacher who is compassionate, structured, creative, and confident in delivering a personalised curriculum that enables every pupil to progress.
SEN Teacher - Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons as an SEN Teacher
*Teach pupils across all primary key stages within a SEND environment
*Support pupils with complex needs, communication difficulties, and SEMH
*Work closely with support staff to deliver personalised and targeted learning
*Contribute to EHCP reviews, assessments, and pupil progress as an SEN Teacher
*Adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of needs
*Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external professionals
*Maintain a safe, consistent, and nurturing classroom environment
*Uphold safeguarding and SEND best practice as a dedicated SEN Teacher
SEN Teacher - Requirements:
*QTS is essential for this SEN Teacher role
*Experience teaching in a SEND or complex-needs setting
*Ability to teach across all primary key stages
*Strong understanding of SEND strategies, communication methods, and behaviour support
*Patient, resilient, nurturing, and proactive
*Confident in adapting lessons and working collaboratively as an SEN Teacher
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
