An exciting and expanding international sports business is now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be working closely with the senior finance teams at several national sporting venues, processing event revenue, overseeing credit control, invoicing, monthly P&L and financial reporting. This is a permanent, full-time predominately hybrid role and pays £35,000 p.a. plus benefits and the opportunity for further progression within the business. Apply today!

As the new Accounts Assistant, you will be:
*Reconciling event-day revenue and cash.
*Issuing invoices.
*Overseeing credit control.
*Supporting monthly P&L processes.
*Producing clear and timely financial reporting for internal stakeholders.
*Contributing to ad-hoc analysis and project work.
This role will give you the opportunity to gain broad exposure across the finance and operational teams.

As the new Accounts Assistant, you should have:
*Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
*Confident user of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs and formulas)
*An accounting qualification or part-qualification (desirable but not required)
*Clear communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently
*Comfortable working in a dynamic, event-led environment

Location
This role is hybrid, with time split between 3 venues in London and the South of England combined with remote working. Occasional travel (around twice per month) to sites across the Midlands and South Coast is required. This role requires you to have your own car and you will be reimbursed for all you milage expenses
