Teaching Assistant - part-time (16 hours per week)

*Job Type: Part-time (Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team from January 2026 until at least Easter. This role involves working across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing general support during the mornings. This position is ideal for someone passionate about contributing to the educational development of children.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily activities, ensuring they meet the educational needs of the children.
*Work closely with the teaching staff to implement lesson plans and educational activities.
*Provide support to individual students and small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
*Monitor and support the students’ progress and provide feedback to the teachers.
*Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
*Ensure a safe and tidy environment that facilitates learning.
*Engage with children to foster a positive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role within an educational setting.
*Strong understanding of the educational needs of children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
