We are seeking a Commercial Insights Analyst with strong commercial acumen - ideally with experience in non-food buying, category management, or supplier-led roles - to shape data-driven decision making and support the development of high-impact assortments across gifting, souvenirs, toys, and travel essentials.
Key Responsibilities for this Commercial Data Analyst role - *Analyse sales, margin, pricing, promotional, and category performance data across multiple business areas.
*Build and deliver insightful dashboards and reports that drive stronger commercial decisions.
*Provide analytical support for supplier negotiations, dynamic/pricing reviews, and promotional planning.
*Partner closely with finance, operations, and commercial teams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
*Support continuous improvement in reporting accuracy, data visualisation, and commercial insight.
*Contribute to non-food buying activity, including branded supplier management and private-label support.
Key Requirements of this Commercial Data Analyst role - *4-5+ years’ experience in retail, FMCG, supermarket, travel retail, or wholesale.
*Proven background in commercial analysis, buying, category management, or procurement.
*Experience across non-food categories such as gifting, souvenirs, toys, or travel accessories (highly desirable).
*Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with experience managing branded and private-label ranges.
*Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or VBA experience is a plus.
*Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
*A confident communicator with a proactive, collaborative, and entrepreneurial mindset.
*Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a fast-growing business.
