Purpose of the Role
As a Vitaline First Responder, you’ll provide emergency support and welfare checks to vulnerable adults, using assistive technology and personal contact. You’ll be the reassuring presence when it matters most, working closely with colleagues, partners, and emergency services.


Key Details
*Contract: 12 weeks
*Hours: 37 per week, night shifts (22:10–07:10, rota-based)
*Pay: £13.69 – £14.59 per hour
*Location: Hybrid – Phoenix Centre, Blackpool FY1 6RN
*DBS: Enhanced (child & adult workforce, update service)


Responsibilities
*Respond to emergencies and provide welfare checks.
*Deliver out-of-hours support for Council departments.
*Use technology to monitor and assist service users.
*Lone working in the community, including home visits.
*Maintain accurate records and handovers between shifts.


Requirements
*Full UK driving licence (essential).
*Minimum Level 2 qualification (or willingness to achieve).
*Basic IT and keyboard skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
